CBD

The cannabis plant is made up of both THC and CBD (or cannabidiol).  Both provide remarkable healing, soothing and therapeutic benefits however, unlike THC, CBD is part of the plant that does not make you feel "inebriated".  In other words, CBD is "Relaxing BUT not intoxicating".

CBD in SKINCARE

With its anti-inflammatory properties twice that of hydrocortisone and antioxidant properties stronger than Vitamin C&E, CBD has a long history of being used to treat the skin.  It has been proven to treat inflammation, pain and numerous other conditions without causing you feelings of dysphoria.  CBD binds to a special set of receptors in the skin, known as TRPV-1 receptors, where it can help feelings of heat, itch and pain.  Due to its ability to bind with these receptors and treat the skin, New York based dermatologist Joshua Zeichner, MD, who has been featured in "O" Magazine, Woman's Day and Good Housekeeping, has deemed it to be the "Budding breakthrough in skincare".

CANNABIS over HEMP

CBD derived from cannabis is preferred over hemp, not only because of its superior efficacy but for safety and surety reasons.  Hemp is distributed through many unregulated channels which do not enforce strict testing requirements, like cannabis.  In addition, because of its low cannabinoid content a large amount of fiber hemp is required to extract small amounts of CBD.  This increases the risk of contaminants being present since hemp draws toxins directly from the soil.
